The gas meters to be installed are compatible with the minimum and maximum capacities of the customer’s installation and gas appliances, the gas flow rate and the pressure of the gas entering the meter and, where appropriate, the temperature of the incoming gas and the temperature in the surroundings. The meters must be easily accessible and the position of the meter must allow for the display to be read.
The installation and sealing of the meter by the network operator is free of charge for new connectees.
The seals on the gas meter must not be damaged or removed. The network operator must be notified of a damaged seal immediately. The gas meter belongs to the network operator and we make sure that the meter is in order.
